Police track down wanted King’s Lynn offender Leon Dowd

A wanted man for breaching his prison licence has been hunted down by the police.

Leon Dowd, from the Lynn area, was wanted on recall to prison yet again, despite officers only locating him for a similar offence as recently as November.

The 43-year-old was arrested yesterday and taken to Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

He was subsequently charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer.

He is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court today.
