King’s Lynn offender Leon Dowd jailed after assaulting police officer
A man will spend a week behind bars after assaulting an officer.
Lynn man Leon Dowd was arrested on Monday after a police search as he was wanted on recall to prison yet again, despite only committing a similar offence as recently as November.
He was subsequently charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer.

He appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
During the hearing, he was ordered to pay compensation of £100 and was jailed for seven days.
