Fakenham man David Coleman denies abusing ex-partner in King’s Lynn during ten-year relationship
A man will face trial for allegedly physically abusing his ex-partner and damaging her iPad.
David Coleman, 37, of Waterfield Avenue in Fakenham, could be sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison if found guilty of the six charges put to him at Lynn Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
He denied each charge, which include controlling behaviour, criminal damage, assault by beating and two counts of actual bodily harm.

Prosecutor Wendy Davidson did not go into detail about the alleged events – but said they took place in Lynn across a ten-year period, while Coleman was in a relationship with the victim.
He is also accused of destroying the woman’s iPad on one occasion in early 2025.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction over the matter, and Coleman is set to face trial at Norwich Crown Court on February 10.
He has been released on bail with conditions not to contact the victim or any of the witnesses.
