Alleged King’s Lynn Creme Egg thief Korben Mortimer due in court

A man arrested in a bush is due in court this morning charged with 11 counts of theft.

Officers were called to the allotments near Wardles Chase in Lynn on Wednesday afternoon, where a man was arrested on suspicion of theft.

Subsequently, Korben Mortimer, 23, of Dawber Close in Gaywood, has been charged with 11 counts of retail theft.

He was remanded in custody by police overnight and is due at Norwich Magistrates’ Court this morning.

The alleged thefts include chocolate and alcohol worth around £400 – including more than £70 worth of Creme Eggs.
