Jason Reynolds refused breath test after drinking wine in car in King’s Lynn
A man refused to take a breath test after drinking wine in his car to get some “peace and quiet” from his partner.
Jason Reynolds, 51, of Charles Road in Holt, was suddenly awoken by an off-duty police officer after falling asleep in his car in Lynn on December 12.
After noticing bottles of wine inside, a roadside breath test was ordered. However, Reynolds refused to comply.

He was arrested and taken into custody, where he again refused to take a test, despite being given multiple opportunities.
At Lynn Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, he pleaded guilty to the offence.
The court heard that Reynolds had an argument with his partner and drove away to get “some peace and quiet”.
He then drank wine, took his shoes off and fell asleep in the vehicle.
With no previous convictions to his name, magistrates added ten points to his licence.
Reynolds will also have to pay a fine of £308, a victim surcharge of £123 and court costs of £110.
