King’s Lynn man Matthew Tuttle found with cocaine, cannabis and extendable baton after police caught him driving while disqualified
A man was found with cocaine, cannabis and an extendable baton after police caught him driving while disqualified.
Matthew Tuttle, 45, of Saddlebow Road in South Lynn, appeared at the town’s magistrates’ court on Thursday, where he pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance as well as possession of drugs and a weapon.
Prosecutor Jenny Holt did not go into detail about the offences as magistrates said the charges were “self-explanatory”. However, she highlighted that it was the defendant’s second weapons conviction.

Court documents show that Tuttle was caught while driving on Wisbech Road on January 11, and officers uncovered 5.54g of cannabis, alongside the cocaine and baton.
Magistrates adjourned the hearing to allow a pre-sentence report to be prepared, and Tuttle is set to reappear at the same court on April 9.
His previous disqualification remains in place.
