Class of 2025 returns to Springwood High School in King’s Lynn to celebrate ‘hard work and effort’ with awards evening
The successes of former Year 11 students were celebrated at a high school’s presentation evening.
Springwood’s Class of 2025 rejoined their old peers, teachers, and governors in the Peter Hopkins Hall, where more than 100 graduates were handed their GCSE certificates, as well as additional subject prizes and school awards.
Among the high achievers acknowledged at the ceremony were Aritra Kar and Sara Mohammed, who were named joint top performers in the year group, both having attained Grade 9s across all their subjects.

The event began with student Ethan Soong playing welcoming music on the piano, and was shortly followed by executive headteacher Andy Johnso congratulating the winners and presenting certificates and prizes, with the help of special guest Abi Pawsey.

“It also recognises the hard work and effort that has allowed them to achieve and progress.

“They were not only academically strong – but also a demonstration of the passionate, hard-working and caring young people that we hope leave us at the end of five years at Springwood.”
