King’s Lynn firm expands further as it opens brand new bathroom showroom

A family-run West Norfolk business is expanding as a new bathroom showroom will be opening this weekend.

Carl Merrison and Carl Easthall, the brains behind C&C Property Maintenance Ltd, are excited to launch their next business venture by opening The Bathroom Studio.

The duo wanted to provide a dedicated destination for customers to view some of the “eye-catching” and bespoke offerings before they are installed.

C&C Property Maintenance offers an array of services, from tiling, plumbing, heating and kitchen and bathroom refurbishments.

The pair have decades of experience behind them, which has led their business to grow so they could purchase a unit on Paxman Road in Lynn to show some of their offerings.

The Bathroom Studio, located in the former Tea and the Gang premises, will be opening on Saturday, and plans to be open seven days a week.

“This has always been the end goal for us to have a bricks and mortar sort of shop,” Carl Merrison said.

“It has been a dream to own and run our own bathroom showroom. It is exciting times”

The pair describe how “rapid growth” has meant they could open the showroom fully funded by themselves.

“You will not see what we offer for miles,” Carl Easthall added.

“We have tiling you cannot find anywhere else. We are trying to aim at that higher point.”

Carl Easthall created his first business, CE Tiling, 12 years ago, specialising in the installation of tiling solutions.

Meanwhile, Carl Merrison founded CJM Plumbing and Heating 11 years ago, specialising in the design, installation, and repair of heating, plumbing, and gas systems.

Ten years ago, their paths crossed, and both Carls began working on projects together, from HMOs to multimillion-pound house renovations.

Both have said that customer care remains a priority for them, and they both like to deliver services with a “personal touch”.

The pair have been using “quality sourced materials” in homes and businesses in Norfolk and further afield.

“We are trying to offer something different. It is a family-run business and not sold by a salesman, and we are installer-led,” Carl Easthall said.

The Bathroom Studio will be open Monday to Fridays 8am to 4pm and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
