Former King’s Lynn bank manager Neil Alsop accused of engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour

A former town bank manager is accused of engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour in an intimate setting.

Neil Alsop, 53, has been charged with three offences, one of which he has already denied.

Alsop, who used to be a manager at Lloyds Bank in Lynn, has been accused of common assault taking place on April 8, 2021, and engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour in an intimate setting between January 1 2021 and November 28.

He is yet to enter a plea to both offences, but denied causing criminal damage under the value of £5,000 on July 13 when he appeared at Cambridge Crown Court on Tuesday.

Alsop now works as a financial advisor in March and lives in the area.

He is next set to appear in court on November 9 for a pre-trial review.
