West Norfolk mayor Andy Bullen records special Christmas message for the visually impaired
West Norfolk’s mayor has extended warm Christmas wishes to the visually impaired by recording a speech for Lynn’s talking newspaper.
In a special edition, Cllr Andy Bullen sat down and spoke of his support for youth organisations, wildlife and businesses in the area.
It is the 46th anniversary of the founding of the talking newspaper, which serves those with lesser eyesight.

Within his recording, he thanked emergency workers, council staff and all of the volunteers who help to keep the community running.
Cllr Bullen told the team that he was proud to represent the town at many events last year, including an amazing opportunity to visit St Monans in Scotland to honour 37 fishermen who died in a dreadful storm at Lynn in 1875.
He added that he is looking forward to upcoming events such as the Mayor’s Business Awards and the Local Hero Awards, and is excited to continue serving until May next year.
