New Tapping House Hospice charity shop set to open in King’s Lynn
A new charity shop which will help fund vital hospice care is set to open this week.
Hillington-based Tapping House Hospice has announced the opening of its brand-new charity shop in Lynn, offering shoppers an exciting new destination for quality pre-loved goods.
Located at Dagentine House on Coburg Street, opposite the Morrisons petrol station, the spacious shop will provide a bright and welcoming environment with an extensive range of donated items.

When it opens on Wednesday, shoppers can browse furniture and electrical goods, alongside clothing, household items, media and much more, with stock changing regularly.
The shop will be open Monday to Saturday from 9am-5.30pm, and Sunday from 10am-4pm.
Every purchase made in the shop helps Tapping House continue to provide specialist hospice care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families and carers across Norfolk and North Cambridgeshire.
The charity’s running costs are more than £6.7million every year, and as a charity, more than 70% of this funding must be raised through voluntary income – including its network of charity shops.
Sally Chandler, associate director of retail at Tapping House, said: “We are delighted to be opening this new shop in Lynn.
“This larger space allows us to offer an even wider range of quality pre-loved items while strengthening our presence in the town.
“We hope it will become a popular destination for shoppers and supporters alike, while playing a vital role in raising funds for our hospice services.”
Tapping House welcomes donations of good-quality items and is always keen to hear from anyone interested in volunteering.
