King’s Lynn’s Wimpy franchise owners fail to collect items in time for reposession deadline
Fast food restaurant owners have failed to collect items a week after they were told to move out.
Lynn’s Wimpy suddenly closed its doors at the end of last month after a repossession notice was put in its windows.
No action has been seen at the premises, located on the corner of High Street and New Conduit Street, since January 28.

A letter still on the window ordered the franchise owners to collect their goods by last Tuesday. If not, items such as furniture and crockery would be sold.
However, a week after the deadline, the restaurant looks in the same condition as before. Furniture remains in place, and screens on the tills seem to be turned on.
Wimpy has been in its current premises for many years and was refurbished in 2020. Before that, Lynn had a distinct, pyramid-shaped restaurant in the 1970s.
