First time festive event for King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Law Society supports town’s food bank

A law society’s first-ever Jingle and Mingle event saw a host of businesses get together and support a community cause at the same time.

The Lynn and West Norfolk Law Society held the networking event on December 11, bringing together multiple law firms and local businesses to celebrate the Christmas break and support the town’s food bank.

Guests were invited to bring donations for the food bank and the response from all who attended was overwhelming.

A huge haul of food and essential items were collected and delivered to the food bank on the day, helping to support families during the festive season. In addition, a raffle held at the event also raised £105 for the food bank, thanks to generous contributions from attendees.

The event was sponsored by Geodesys, Just Financial Planning and Countrywide Legal Indemnities, whose support helped make the society’s inaugural festive gathering possible.

Sarah Fairbrother, of Ward Gethin Archer, and president of the society, praised everyone who took part.

She said: “Our final event of the year, has been a great success, it was a brilliant opportunity to network with local professionals whilst supporting a great cause in the food bank.”

It is hoped the Jingle and Mingle will become a new annual tradition, celebrating both community spirit and collaboration across the Lynn area.

The society said it will also be hosting further events in 2026 to raise funds for local charities.
